ODL is the present supplier to the New Zealand Army for blank training ammunition.

Our company is a dedicated blank manufacturer, minimising the risk of contamination with a factory that manufactures ball and blank ammunition.

Police and Special units whose training is pivotal to preparation for operational policing require reliable, safe and quality ammunition that meets exacting tolerances and requirements. ODL offers a lead-free frangible range and can provide custom runs for specialised units.

Linking Machine

For more than 18 years, ODL has been involved in large volume linking of small arms cartridges in the NATO calibres.

While this activity has been mainly on 5.56mm, numerous major projects in 7.62x51mm and .50 calibre have been completed.

A special fact about ODL is that we design and manufacture our own high speed linking machinery. This machinery is available for purchase and ODL will work with customers if special requirements exist.
